Not sure if anyone encountered this issue or not.
My driver side door simply could not close! No matter how hard you try to slam the door shut, it will just 'bounce' out. It is like something is blocking the mechanism It is not even like times when the door is 'half closed' whereby you just open again and shut it.
Panicked, called up Wearnes service hotline, and the lady told me to pull the unlock handle about 5 times and try to close again. Voila it worked! Told me to monitor the situation and if it happens again then send it back to workshop. Issue popped up again twice over a weekend so decided to send it back to Wearnes
SA told me probably the door and the car body is misaligned, and they will do adjustment for me. Picked up my car and for a few days no recurring problem.
However just a while ago same issue happened. Super turn off... Not sure should I send it back to workshop and be without car for a whole day since I can troubleshoot it myself (pull door handle a few times) , or should I call them back and make a ruckus?
Anyone with similar issues to advise?

Ever since repaired, it has happened again for less than 5 times. I'm too lazy to send my car back again as it is quite disruptive to my work. Plus its just a small inconvenience. Will wait till its due for servicing, or when the issue worsen drastically.

Sorry to hear that, if it were me, I would have gone crazy. Mine too has it's minor issue: - driver door creaks a little whenever I go over uneven road or humps - rear end has a light knocking sound, again whenever I go over uneven road or humps - left rear tire has a minor leak (just discovered lately, this is the last straw, no more excuses) Have read much feedback from other Evoque owners in overseas forums, I guess mine is "normal" or lucky considering the other major problems others see. Same as you I have been putting up with it due to work commitment, but finally made an appointment to send in for checkups next month.
Quoting the Service Rep "If it's a safety issue, you may drop in anytime, else you have to make an appointment...." :-)
