I felt that the Evoque exhaust tips are too small for a car of such size. Thus decided to just change the tips to something of a bigger diameter. Went to RTES at Ubi, and found these carbon fiber wrapped tips. The original tips are cut off, and the new ones are welded on. Downtime is the time I needed to finish my bak chor mee and kopi peng, but waiting time is about half a pack of ciggies Before, stock size: After:

Fierce looking alright!
Maybe I'll do it after my inspection in Apr next yr. Apparently, they wouldn't pass ur ride if the tip is welded on - is this correct?

If im not wrong, you need to keep at least 1 inch of the original pipe after the muffler. After that you are able to weld or bolt-on the tips no problem. Of course, other standard LTA rules and regulation applies, like: does not protrude longitudinally or laterally from the vehicle, does not adversely affect the operation of the vehicle, etc.... You know the drift.
Total damage is less than $200

OIC, well at least we know what our options for exos tip. So far, I haven't heard of any approved after-market exos in SG - and won't be avail anytime in the near future due to low demand.
