Hi guys,
Its great what you guys have going here. Hopefully this forum grows to become one that is well established. Meanwhile I have a tech question about fuel efficiency. My FR2 has pretty much been giving me 4km/L of fuel for the past months. I have changed the tyres and so on. Finally it's at Wearnes and they are trying to figure out what is wrong. Has anyone had this problem before? Any input would be valuable. Thank you.

4km/L is VERY poor FC. I am not a technical person, thus I cant advise much. Do update us whether Wearnes are able to find out the problem.

Hey guys, just a quick update. Got the car back from Wearnes and unfortunately they couldn't identify a cause for the poor FC. Guess will just have to figure out what the cause is by process of elimination. On another note was chatting with the tech who took care of the ride, he did mention the FR2 is a fun ride to take off road. Hopefully we can arrange something in the near future. It would obviously be helpful if we there is some sort of a basic off roading course to go for, given the last time i was off road on a rover was 13 yrs ago in NS (at the back of it). haha

Which FR2 are u on? The 4cyl turbo or 6cyl non-turbo?
Driving style and urban/sub-urban driving also contribute to FC %.
Wearnes recently organized an off-road trip. Heard they're gonna arrange another one ... not sure when only.
Cheers!

Hi, have had the 3.2l FL2 for about 1.5 yrs now. Around 20K done. Consistently gives me 6.5 kmpl- I drive peak hour urban traffic 80% of the time. I get about 12 kmpl on Malaysia drives. Does your vehicle have any extra weight like a bike rack? What about tire pressure?

Kinda surprised at the FR2s (both 3.2NA and 2.0T) fuel mileage. My RRE returns about 7.3 to 7.9 Km/L with spirited driving, was worried initially why it didn't measure up to the paper specs, until I found out that is normal from evoque forums. My daily commute is about 60% highway and 40% urban.

Hi all ... i'm driving a 3.2L LR2 as well. I'm doing approximately 8-8.5km/l and mostly suburban drive (70% highway, 30% city). I'm quite light footed with the occasional spirited drive. Normally there are 2 of us in the car and 4 over the weekend drive. No additional weights apart from the side-steps that i've installed and the extra pounds that i gained over CNY . Tire pressure kept to a consistent 250kpa on nitro and am on 19" wheels.

I'm the line producer, for a Hollywood movie - Agent 47 (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt2679042/) and we are urgently in need of sourcing white range rover for our shoot. It will be insured and driven by Hollywood stars. We hope you can kindly lend us a support in our movie and we will compensate you for your time and effort Thank you and I hope to hear from you soon!
