I went to Wearnes to get some items (see below) fixed under warranty. Today I checked the report and was shocked to see that they have marked the front and rear brake pads to be 8mm and 5mm respectively. The wearing on the rear brake pads seems excessive for a 24000km car!
1. do RR/LR's rear brake pads wear faster than the front? I never had a car that has rear wear out faster than front.
2. 24000km...5mm left?! That's very low mileage! At what mileage do you replace the brake pads on your RR/LR?

Items fixed -
a. Rattling on left rear speaker - Fixed. Clips/Wires loose behind the speakers. Mentioned this problem to the staff during my 1st servicing but was told it will take 2days to fix this problem.
b. Bonnet misaligned (gaps are not even on both sides) - Semi-fixed. Had this problem since I collected the car in 2012. Went back the next day, the tech only adjusted the rubber stoppers near the latch . Now, hopefully they did more than just adjusting the stoppers, it looks better but alignment is still a little 'off'.
c. Lumbar support not retracting - Not fixed. Certain part of the system (SA said it was a "pipe") was not working, thus not releasing air. Item to be replaced not in stock. Indenting...was told it takes 2 weeks.
The process of getting repairs/warranty claims was time consuming.
1. Make appointment to get my problems assessed;
2. Go to Wearnes for the SA to assess the problems - basically what he did was just to verify that the problems existed (took about 45mins, 3/4 of that was waiting time);
3. Prebook a date for 2 weeks later to send the car in for repair;
4. Leave the car at the workshop for 2 days. Complementary 1way taxi ride.
5. On the 2nd day, they told me that problem c can only be fixed after the part arrive.
6. Repeat step 3 and 4 when the part eventually arrives.
